A Hmong child sits by the fire outside of his temporary shelter. Many of the children suffer from malnutrition as food consists of roots and trees with only an occasional bit of protien. Living a life constantly on the move prevents the Hmong from being able to farm, garden or domesticate animals. Hunger serves as much of a threat as the LPA does.
